The lag that I was experiencing was just on the program/video side. I was very surprised that I have almost no audio lag on the wireless headset when playing the MIDI keyboard. I am using a Dell G15 laptop with an external Dell monitor (with two other simultaneous ones, but only 1 used for Yousician) through a USB 3.0 DisplayLink docking station and a BT600 Plantronics headset. In that key, look for keys that start with "Latency_MeasurementV2Offset" and rename them by adding an underscore at the beginning: "_Latency_MeasurementV2Offset"Īfter that, just close and re-open Yousician and you should be back to a clean, untouched calibration. In Windows Registry Editor, search for Yousician and press F3 until you find a key that looks like this:Ĭomputer\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3076616590-1023817654-2454041987-1002\Software\Yousician\Yousician Here is what I did to restore the clean calibration settings: Backing up any key that you intend to modify is a good idea. Please be careful to not change settings if you don't know what they do. I tried re-installing the program and clearing any temp files, but the calibration settings were retained. I was using Yousician on PC with a very minor lag (MIDI keyboard on Windows 11), but after trying to use the Latency Calibration feature, the program significantly increased the lag between songs and guided sheet to an unplayable point.
